Beechcraft King Air 350

In FSEconomy, the plane seats 14 or can carry 2,604 kg of cargo. It has a (nominal) cruise speed of 258 knt.

Shows up in MSFS 2024 as the “Textron Aviation Beechcraft King Air 350i”. Fuel tank match to FSEconomy is almost perfect, so don’t fill past ~99%.

As a twin prop, it easily cruises at 180 knt (not quite double the Cessna 208).

It does have landing gear, so you need to remember to pull it up once off the ground, and drop it before landing.

In MSFS 2024, I have yet to figure out how to work the flight computer. It is similar to the G1000 (in the Cessna 172 and 208), but the controls are between the two seats on a lower console. In a real plane, that probably puts them very handy, but in the simulator, I haven’t figured out how to have the display and the controls visible at the same time. I’m also not sure how thoroughly simulated the flight computer is, as it didn’t seem to pick up the flight plans from my (in-game) tablet, which makes the AutoPilot of somewhat limited use (as it can’t just follow the pre-programmed route).

As well, the plane has a fairly tall “dash”, so I need to find the slew controls for MSFS so I can “look over the dash”.

Similar planes include the Cessna CJ4.

FSEconomy pricing seems to start (as of September 2025) at ~v$730,000.
