    52. Here lieth the remains of Anne Minchin, daughter of William Augustus
    Minchin, late of Woodville, in the County of Wexford, who departed this life
    September the 5th, 1819,aged 16 years. She now inherits the fulfilment of that
    promise, Because I live, ye shall live also. Adjoining this tomb on the left
    lies the body of William Minchin, son of the above William Augt. Minchin, who
    departed this life 22nd April, 1825, aged 18 years. Also the remains of William
    Augt. Minchin, who departed this life the 3rd January,1841, aged 73 years.

    Michael Lloyd Ferrar (1799-1884) was 5th son of william Hugh Ferrar (1771-1826) and his wife Maria Lloyd (d.1850).W H Ferrar was eldest son of John Ferrar (1742-1804) and his wife Mary Johns (d.1825). J Ferrar was eldest son of William Ferrar (1700-1753) and his wife Rose Paine (or Payne)(1715-1772). W Ferrar was only child of William Ferrar (b.1665). Mary Minchin (1806-1858) was 3rd daughter of William Augustus Minchin (d.1841) and Mary Ferrar (1775-1809). M Ferrar was 3rd daughter of John Ferrar (1742-1804) and Mary Johns (d.1825) - see above. W A Minchin's mother, Anne Howard, was descended from a younger son, Francis, of Sir William Howard, Viscount Stafford. ML Ferrar (1799-1884) and his wife Mary Minchin (1806-1858) had 8 children:- (1) William Hugh (b.1835; married Elizabeth Banks; Australia); (2) Augustus Minchin (b.1837; married Rebecca Hughes; Ireland); (3) Michael Lloyd (b.1839; married Rosa O'Donnell; India); (4) Howard Minchin (1841-1872; unmarried; India); (5) Mary Minchin (b.1842; married _ Hardy; England); (6) Rosetta Minchin (1844-1924; unmarried?; Ireland); (7) Henry Stafford (1850-1920; married Frances Veitch; America); (8) John Edgar (b.1852; married Mary Hartley; Africa). A useful source of ancestoral information is "The Limerick-Huntingdon Ferrars : by one of them". 50 copies privately printed in 1903.
    Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Michael Lloyd Ferrar and his wife Rosa O'Donnell, married Thomas Wolseley Haig, and was my great-grandmother.
